Principal Responsibilities:
The Philly J is looking for a seasonal Art Specialist for our in-person day camp in Wynnewood this summer! Camp runs for 8 weeks Monday-Friday between 8am-4pm from June 23rd until August 15th. We are looking for a commitment of 40 hours per week.The Art Specialist would teach art to kids ages 5-13 and lead them through creative projects of all mediums. Our ideal candidate has experience working with kids and can come up with creative and age appropriate projects. All materials for art projects will be supplied. Pay starts at $15/h and can vary based on experience
This role would be perfect for a current or recently graduated college art student or someone with teaching experience in a school or preschool looking for a summer gig.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Work hours: 8am - 4pm (40 hours per week)
- Must be at least 21 years old with 2 years of college experience
- Understanding of various artistic mediums
- 1-3 years experience with children preferably in a classroom setting
- Ability to lead, plan, organize, and implement program activities
- Must be able to obtain background clearances, FBI fingerprinting, and child abuse clearance
- Ability to commute daily to Wynnewood, PA for the duration of the summer
