Summary Overview:
The Project Manager will have the exciting opportunity to support the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH), Office of Management (OM) Project Management Support team.
In this position, the Project Manager maintains and manages the client interface at the COR levels of the client organization. Additionally, the Project Manager assists the Program Manager as required in managing contract performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Project Manager III your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Performing day-to-day management of contract support operations, possibly involving multiple tasks and groups of personnel at multiple locations, on a single project.
- Providing technical guidance to the project team in performance of the work and reviewing the quality of all work products.
- Organizing, directing, and coordinating the planning and production of all contract support activities.
- Responsible for staffing, project planning, project financials, and staff direction and oversight.
Required Experience and Skills:
- 10 years' experience
- Strong expertise in Microsoft SharePoint for content management, collaboration, and workflow creation.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, advanced formulas, and data visualization tools.
- Familiarity with financial modeling tools and techniques, including scenario analysis and forecasting.
- Experience in working with financial data, including analysis, interpretation, and reporting.
- Ability to develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present complex data clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to interact effectively with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership.
- Experience creating professional presentations, dashboards, and reports tailored to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and implement improvements in processes and systems.
- Comfort with leveraging tools and technologies to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
Desired Experience and Skills:
- Optional but a Plus: Knowledge of additional data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Education: Bachelor's degree (Required)
Certificates, Licenses and Registrations: PMP certification (Required)
