Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Water Transfer Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of various hose products and extensive experience in water transfer operations, particularly in hydraulic fracturing (frac) projects within the oilfield industry. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Technical Expertise:
- Ensure proper selection, installation, and maintenance of various types of hose products, including lay-flat hoses, high-pressure hoses, and specialized hoses for water transfer.
- Monitor and maintain the efficiency and safety of water transfer systems.
2. Operational Excellence:
- Oversee the planning and execution of water transfer operations at oilfield sites, ensuring compliance with project timelines and quality standards.
- Support hydraulic fracturing (frac) operations by ensuring uninterrupted water supply and system integrity.
3. Problem Solving:
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to water transfer equipment and systems.
- Optimize system performance to reduce downtime and improve operational efficiency.
4. Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure adherence to industry regulations, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for water transfer operations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Petroleum Technology, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in water transfer operations within the oil and gas industry, particularly in hydraulic fracturing.
- Comprehensive knowledge of various hose products and their applications in oilfield environments.
- Strong understanding of the technical and operational aspects of frac operations.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in challenging environments, including remote oilfield locations.
- Proficient in using relevant software tools and systems.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
