Our KCP Medical Receptionists support the vision and mission of the organization and continually work to collaborate with all clinical services staff in support of direct patient services. Our Medical Receptionists are responsible for greeting and interacting with guests in a healthcare setting, facilitating the communications functions of the clinic, and other clerical related functions in a manner that places emphasis on excellent customer service.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior administrative or clerical experience in medical setting preferred
- Graduate of a certified medical office training course preferred
- Knowledge of or experience with medical terminology and HIPAA regulations preferred
- Bilingual (English/Spanish); Able to read, write, and comprehend English
- Experienced in computer data entry/typing
- Demonstrated customer-first attitude and philosophy
- Effective interpersonal and organizational skills
- Excellent telephone skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of appropriate and effective skills for communicating with all ages served, via in person, by electronic mail or telephone
- Able to multitask and react positively to frequent changes in duties and volume of work; Adaptable; Reliable
- Culturally sensitive and demonstrated ability to work with ethnically diverse populations
