What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Tech Helper position at Kaizen Collision Center?
Responsibilities
- Work alongside an assigned body technician to learn how to perform quality service.
- Performs safety inspections, minor repairs, and basic maintenance.
- Tears the car down and puts it back together.
- Assists technician with moving, fabricating, attaching, and aligning parts on the vehicle per estimate and according to manufacturer standards.
- Picks up parts and follows up with special order parts from Parts Department as directed by technicians.
- Helps keep work area clean and free of any harmful objects.
- Maintains a high level of uniform appearance.
- Completes all work according to the applicable safety requirements and published procedures.
