We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fire Sprinkler Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings, including commercial and residential properties. This role requires a strong understanding of fire safety regulations and the ability to work effectively on construction sites.
Fire Sprinkler Installer Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler systems according to local codes and regulations.
- Fabricate and assemble piping systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Perform pipe threading and welding tasks as required for system installation.
- Conduct inspections of existing fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Troubleshoot issues with fire sprinkler systems and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with construction teams on-site to ensure proper installation of fire protection systems.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including materials used and time spent on tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols while working in construction environments.
Fire Sprinkler Installer Qualifications
- Proven experience in fire sprinkler fitting or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Strong basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings related to fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes and fire safety regulations is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a construction site environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
Fire Sprinkler Installer Compensation/Benefits:
- $30-$32/hr BOE
