General Laborer (Seasonal)

General Laborer Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hard working General Laborers for a 4 to 6 week project at the Jo Ann Fabrics Warehouse starting Monday 4/14. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks that support our operations and contribute to the overall success of our projects. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

General Laborer Duties

• Assist in the preparation and cleanup of job sites, ensuring a safe and organized work environment.
• Load and unload materials and equipment as needed.
• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Follow instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs on equipment when necessary.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times.

General Laborer Skills

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds).
• Basic knowledge of construction or labor-related tasks is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

General Laborer Compensation & Benefits

• $20/hr BOE
• Working Shifts: 3PM to 12AM & 6AM to 3PM Mon thru Fri and 8 hr shift on Sat
• Guaranteed weekly overtime

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 53 per week
