Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develops, researches, designs, implements, tests, and evaluates software and firmware for embedded systems that integrate sensors into a larger active protection system.
- Participates in internal and external design reviews, readiness reviews, and program reviews.
- Analyzes software / firmware requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Consults with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software and operational and performance requirements of the overall system.
- Develops and directs software system testing procedures and documentation.
- Provides on-site support for integration events, test events, demonstrations, and customer support.
- Works closely with engineers from our parent company in Israel.
