POSITION SUMMARY : We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Video Production Assistant to support the creation of compelling video content. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in video editing, media management, and production techniques, as well as a creative eye for visual and special effects. This role is a great fit for a highly organized and communicative individual who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Video Production Assistant is expected to work between 40 - 50 hours weekly, with an average 5-day work week. Schedules are tentative and hours expected can be dependent on business levels, special events, holidays, etc.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist in all stages of video production, from pre-production to final delivery.
- Manage media assets, including organizing and archiving footage, maintaining file naming conventions, and ensuring easy access for the team.
- Edit video content for social media, websites, and other audio / visual platforms, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and project objectives.
- Create and integrate motion graphics, transitions, and special effects as needed.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm, storyboard, and develop engaging video concepts.
- Assist in on-site video shoots, including setup, lighting, and camera operation when necessary.
- Ensure audio and visual elements meet high-quality standards and are synchronized.
- Perform quality checks on final exports to ensure accuracy and professionalism.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and recommend new tools or techniques to enhance production quality.
