We are looking for a full-time Intellectual Property Litigation (Patent) attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field, such as molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, or organic chemistry, and at least 2-3 years of patent litigation experience.
The primary responsibility of this position will be to represent clients in intellectual property litigation matters, including patent infringement, trade secret misappropriation, and trademark infringement. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, and will have excellent research and writing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Research and prepare legal memoranda and briefs
- Draft pleadings and motions
- Conduct discovery and depositions
- Argue motions and cases in court
- Negotiate settlements
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- PhD in a relevant field, such as molecular biology, medicinal chemistry, or organic chemistry
- At least 5-10 years of experience in intellectual property litigation
- Must have 2-3 years of patent litigation experience
- Excellent research and writing skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
