Kaizen Technologies, Inc., a private vocational school approved by the Department of Labor is seeking to hire a Medication Aide instructor. The Medication Aide Instructor is responsible for instructing, directing, and educating students toward the goal of successful completion of the Certified Medication Aide course. This is an independent contractor position. Flexible scheduling with day and/or evening hours available.
Responsibilities
- Instruct students on the scope of practice and codes of conduct within their position in health care facilities
- Teach skills competencies
- Provide clinical experience
- Provide and maintain open lines of communication with students regarding progress
- Maintain a positive environment conducive to effective learning
- Evaluate student progress
Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of NJ
- 1-2 years of experience in long-term care
- Previous teaching/training experience (preferred)
- Bilingual – Spanish/English (preferred)
