Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and manage scalable data solutions using Snowflake on cloud platforms.
- Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) including setup, configuration, and optimization.
- Implement monitoring tools and set up Azure Alerts to ensure system reliability and proactive incident detection.
- Manage infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, including scripting for automated deployments.
- Build and manage deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps or equivalent).
- Provide application support for solutions hosted on Azure VMs, including troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Handle incident management and collaborate with support teams to resolve application or infrastructure issues.
- Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and other engineers to ensure data integrity, availability, and performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 7 years of experience in Data Engineering with at least 2 years of hands-on Snowflake experience.
- Proven experience with Azure infrastructure (especially Azure VM deployment, monitoring, and alert management).
- Strong scripting skills in Terraform for automated infrastructure deployment.
- Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines (preferably using Azure DevOps).
- Proficient in troubleshooting application issues and supporting data solutions hosted on Azure VMs.
- Good understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, and cloud data warehouse concepts.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in an Agile environment.
