Kaló Mina, LLC is a media platform dedicated to exposing contemporary Greek and Cypriot artists to the diaspora through interviews, events, and artist collaborations.
We’re looking for a creative Editorial & Social Media Intern to join our team! You'll support our editorial team with content creation, editing, and research, while also assisting in the planning and scheduling of engaging social media posts across platforms. This is a hands-on role perfect for someone passionate about art, storytelling, digital media, and community building.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with writing, editing, and proofreading articles, newsletters, and blog posts
- Conduct research to support editorial projects
- Pitch ideas for editorial content and social media campaigns
- Draft and schedule posts for Instagram and LinkedIn, and potentially other platforms as well as e-blasts
- Help maintain the editorial calendar and align it with social media strategies
- Monitor social media engagement and assist with community management with Founder
- Analyze performance metrics and suggest content optimizations
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and news about art in Greece and Cyprus (an interest in Hellenism is beneficial, but not at all a requirement. This opportunity is open to everyone)
Requirements:
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and digital content
- Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Detail oriented
- Interest in art is a plus
- Knowledge of SEO and/or basic graphic design (Canva, Photoshop) is a bonus but not required
- Assist photoshoots in NYC with artists
