The authentically African-themed resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.
We are inviting you to apply for the position of Banquet Captain. In this position, be responsible for assisting with the setup, service, and cleanup of all assigned banquet functions. Also, ensures the quality of service, compliance with health, safety, and sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Help lead the banquet team delivering guest service beyond expectations. Be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment that hosts events of all sizes and types.
We do require that you have a background consisting of 1 year of supervisory or management experience in food service or the hospitality industry in a convention center or large hotel (over 500 room property) is preferred. Prior experience as a server and set-up houseperson is required. Having a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort are helpful.
