We are currently seeking an elevated chef to lead the culinary operations of our popular Double Cut Steak House. As a contemporary steak house with a menu that blends classic representations with exploratory items, this role requires a seasoned professional with expertise in directing culinary staff, ordering, and visually inspecting food products.
The ideal candidate will have a background consisting of three years progressive culinary experience, three years of management experience, and experience working in a steakhouse environment. Fluency in reading and reporting on financials is also essential. Additionally, experience with sushi is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Direct culinary staff and ensure the cleanliness, sanitation, and safety in the kitchen and storage areas
- Assist in the preparation of food items and visually inspect all food products to be served
- Ensure minimal waste and maximize cost/production ratio
