Kalahari Resorts and Conventions delivers a beyond-expectations waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-themed resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.
We are inviting you to apply for the position of Banquet Set-up Supervisor. In this position, be responsible for supervising and assisting in proper setup and timely cleanup of all assigned banquet functions. Supervisor the efficient and accurate arranging of event space per event specifications to create effective, fun, and jaw dropping events. Be part of a dynamic team, working in a fast-paced environment that hosts events of all sizes and types.
We do require that you have a background consisting of 1 year of supervisory or management experience in food service or the hospitality industry in a convention center or large hotel (over 500 room property) is preferred. Prior experience as a server and set-up houseperson is required. Having a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel/resort are helpful. Must be able to stack, push, and move banquet equipment throughout the Convention Center. Must have weekend and evening shift availability.
