Kalahari Resorts Conventions delivers a beyond expectations waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-inspired resort is home to America's largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.
We are inviting you to apply for our open Graphic Designer position. In almost all cases, this is NOT a remote role. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the corporate marketing department in the creation of accessible and memorable advertising and marketing materials for internal and external use. You would also assist with graphic design for Trappers Turn Golf Club, LaQuinta (TX) or other Kalahari owned / managed assets. Our corporate office is in Wisconsin Dells, Wisconsin.
We do require that you have a background consisting of (an) :
- Minimum of 1 years' experience in graphic design in a corporate or advertising agency setting with the ability to work collaboratein a group team setting.
- Exceptional creativity and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suites (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Bridge, and Acrobat). Experience with Premiere and After Effects is a plus.
- Must also be familiar with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with photography and printing processes.
- Comfortable working on multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to solve visual communication problems or challenges using relevant, understandable, and effective techniques.
- Having a broad understanding of the tourism industry and the day-to-day operations of a hotel / resort is helpful.
