What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pastry Production Baker position at KALAHARI RESORTS & CONVENTIONS?
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions delivers a waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-inspired resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.
We are inviting you to apply for the Pastry Production Baker position. In this role, you will be responsible for producing bulk batches of specialized pastries & desserts according to production lists, requisitions, and banquet event orders. You will assist the Pastry Chef & Supervisor in production and cleanliness of the day-to-day bakeshop operations. This is a Full-time position that will typically start at 5AM and end at 1PM.
We do require a minimum of 1-2 years of bulk bakery production & 1-2 years of pastry/cake decorating experience. Pastry Arts/Culinary Degree is preferred but not required. You must be a minimum of 18 years of age or older. State law or local regulations may require a certificate upon completion of state-certified proper food handling certification. Serv Safe Food Handler/Food Manager Certification are required.
