Kalahari Resorts and Conventions delivers a beyond-expectations waterpark resort and conference experience all under one roof. The authentically African-themed resort is home to America’s largest indoor waterparks and features well-appointed guest rooms, full-service Spa Kalahari, a fun-filled family entertainment center, on-site signature restaurants, unique retail shops and a state-of-the-art convention center.
We are inviting you to apply for our open Rooms Leadership Development Program position. The goal of this program is to provide a practical hands-on training program which guides the transition of a graduate, or someone looking to transition into hospitality from another field. At the successful completion of the program, participants will be ready to grow into a leadership role.
Participants in the Rooms Leadership Development Program will rotate throughout the entire rooms & housekeeping operation, including working as part of the team in rooms, common area, and our in-house laundry, valet, and front desk/guest services, as well as 40 hours of managerial skills training, the opportunity to practice supervisory skills, and a Mentor to guide them throughout their program. In addition, a comprehensive Kalahari University training plan will be presented upon joining, encompassing cultural and leadership training modules.
PREREQUISITE
To be eligible for the Leadership Development Program, one of the following must apply:
- College graduate in 2024 or have graduated in the past year
- Have previously been, or currently are, a Kalahari associate in good standing
- Have professional experience and are looking to transition into hospitality
- Have significant experience in the hospitality industry.
- Have completed a summer in Kalahari’s Advanced Hospitality Program
