Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disabilities, implementing treatment plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles. Your focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for clients through effective behavioral interventions and support.
Duties
- Implement individualized treatment plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Collect and analyze data related to client behavior to monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed
- Provide direct support to clients in various settings, ensuring a safe and supportive environment
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and uphold confidentiality standards
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to promote client development and well-being
- Engage in ongoing training and professional development related to behavioral therapy techniques
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess skills and experience in the following areas:
- Has experience working with children or adolescents.
- Applied behavior analysis principles is preferred but not required. We offer training.
