Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients of all ages, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction throughout their treatment. This role requires a strong commitment to patient assessment, effective communication, and the ability to perform various dental procedures with precision.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations.
  • Perform a variety of dental procedures such as fillings, extractions, root canals (Endodontics), and oral surgeries (extractions, implants, etc)
  • Utilize medical imaging techniques to diagnose dental conditions accurately.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation for each patient visit in accordance with practice standards.
  • Implement aseptic techniques to ensure a safe and hygienic environment for patients.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide optimal patient care.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies.
  • Manage pediatric dentistry cases with sensitivity and expertise.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques, including the use of Eaglesoft software for practice management.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills.

Skills

  • Proficient in medical imaging and interpretation of diagnostic images.
  • Experience working in a dental office setting with knowledge of office protocols.
  • Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
  • Strong skills in Endodontics, Prosthodontics, and Oral Surgery techniques.
  • Excellent patient assessment abilities with a focus on individualized care plans.
  • Competence in maintaining thorough medical documentation for compliance purposes.
  • Knowledge of aseptic techniques to ensure patient safety during procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively with children in a Pediatric Dentistry context.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and staff alike.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $350,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 16 – 35 per week
