WHAT'S YOUR DAY LIKE?
As a Data Entry Technician, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate medication and patient information for our long-term care facilities, including PACE, AFCs, and Assisted Living Facilities. You'll ensure that prescription data, patient profiles, and medication administration records (MAR) are always up-to-date and accurate, meeting facility-specific protocols and deadlines. You'll also collaborate closely with facility staff to address special billing needs, refill requests, and medication-related issues, all while maintaining smooth communication with healthcare professionals.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be required to meet deadlines or address urgent billing issues.

WHAT'S NEEDED FROM A DATA ENTRY TECHNICIAN?
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Pharmacy technician license or eligibility to a pharmacy technician program
- Experience in data entry, preferably in a pharmacy or healthcare setting serving long-term care facilities
- Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and electronic health records (EHR) systems, with a strong understanding of facility-specific requirements and workflows
- Knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and best practices related to medication dispensing and documentation in long-term care settings
- Willingness to comply with all applicable company policies, procedures, and patient protocols
- Willingness to complete annual education online requirements
- Willingness to abide by the code of conduct and ensure that all activities are conducted ethically following applicable laws and regulations
Framework experience and additional education or certification in pharmacy technology or healthcare administration are preferred but not required.
