Group Facilitator/Employment Coordinator

KPEP is a community based program providing both residential and non-residential services to male and female offenders. We have facilities in Kalamazoo, Benton Harbor, Battle Creek, and Muskegon. We are seeking candidates for a Group Facilitator/Employment Coordinator position.

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Facilitate Commitment, SA Didactic, Community Awareness, CBT and Process Groups
• Data entry
• Maintain group calendar
• Develop working knowledge of MDOC Policy and Procedures
• Federal Client Requirements/Correspondence on behalf of client restrictions
• Monthly reports
• Knowledge of substance abuse policy and procedure
• Medicaid assessments
• Conduct Employability Skills Class
• Monitor Job Club employment seeking activities
• Collaborate with Case Managers to promote resident employment success
• Assist referred residents with special needs
• Develop community resource referral list
• Additional duties assigned by Supervisor

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field
• MCBAP credential (preferred)
• MCBAP Professional Development Plan within 30 days of hire
• Two years of experience with felony offenders (preferred)

This position will be Monday through Friday with two evenings per week.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $46,624.00 per year
