The Kalamazoo Regional Educational Service Agency (KRESA) is a critical part of Michigan’s education system serving the Greater Kalamazoo region and provides specialized services to schools and communities and optimizes resources by centralizing innovative programs and services. We partner with school districts and the broader community to offer essential programs including early childhood education, special education, career learning, and educator development, ensuring that learners of all ages receive the support they need.
We are currently seeking a Technology Site Coordinator at Allegan Public Schools in Allegan, Michigan.
The essential responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:
· Act as the technology project manager for the assigned partner district
· Communicate regularly with district staff to inform them of technology issues or changes
·Communicate regularly with members of the systems, network, and information systems teams to address the technology needs of the district
·Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are followed by technicians to ensure technical and operational consistency
· Monitor site technology tickets to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) are met
·Manage time-sensitive eRate paperwork in coordination with the network team, our eRate consultant and partner district business office staff to maximize grant funds
· Participate in any relevant meetings to support MiTech and partner district objectives.
· Develop and maintain site specific budgets to support district technology needs
· Assist Shared Service Coordinator with preparation and presentation of annual contracts
· Find innovative ways to enhance the use of technology in partnering district
· Coach technology support staff to ensure a high level of customer service
· Follow and promote security measures to ensure the integrity and reliability of all technology systems.
· Provide technology support when necessary
· Regular and consistent attendance
· Other duties may be assigned
Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in management, project management, technology or related field is preferred. Knowledge and experience preferred working in educational institutions.
Three years of successful, related work experience in computer systems repair, information management, project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in Windows operating systems, networking, Google Apps, Microsoft Office, and other productivity software applications. All Technology Site Coordinators must have or obtain the Michigan School Business Officials Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Certification. Will be required to complete this after hire.
Technical Certifications: Google, Microsoft, Comp TIA A , N preferred. Project management certifications such as PMP, AGILE, SCRUM preferred.
This is a 12-month calendar position in job grade 18T with a yearly rate of pay between $68,019.72 and $100,825.55.
