What you'll do at Kale:
- Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction
- Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities
- Work cross-functionally with product management, engineering, design, and research peers
- Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
- Design and ship high-quality product improvements
- Directly impact the health and success of the business and our customers
- 5 years of experience designing UX and UI for software
- Experience working independently to explore concepts from beginning to end
- Demonstrated ability to design simple solutions to complex or system-oriented user problems
- Experience handling complex projects with overlapping organizational lines
- An eye for high-quality, well-crafted visual and interaction design, and a passion for UI details
- A generative spirit, and excitement about coming up with novel, simple solutions
- A track record of leading 0-to-1 initiatives
- Proven track record of identifying opportunities and successfully shipping high-quality products in high growth environments
- Experience using testing, experimentation and research to inform design decisions
- A knack for figuring out ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear goals
- A generative spirit, and excitement for creative problem solving
