Fabrication Specialist - Carpet and Rug Serger

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Fabricator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for completing individual rug orders according to order specification. This role requires attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of the job. The Fabricator will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet both customer expectations and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and fabricate components using various tools and equipment.
• Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
• Operate machinery for cutting and finishing materials.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

• High School or equivalent education is preferred.
• Must be detail orientated.
• Proven experience in fabrication or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Walking, standing, lifting (less than 50 lbs), pulling pushing from 60 to 80% of the time. Will require cutting and measuring carpet on floor (Wearing knee pads).
• Serging experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
• Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
