Job Description
This position is responsible to provide leadership to 3A and 3B, including oversight of staff and quality issues. The Manager will be expected to work with both hospital staff and medical staff to ensure compliance with evidence-based policies and practices and quality initiatives. This individual is decisive, collaborative, open-minded, team-focused, wholly in support of the hospital's vision and fully invested in the success of the staff and organization within our community. The Manager will demonstrate the ability to support and further a patient-centered care culture and provide caring and decisive leadership.
Education And CredentialsBachelor of Science in Nursing or related field or five (5) years recent clinical experience as an RN in an acute care setting. Current or eligible to obtain, New York State & Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license. Certification recommended within two (2) years of start date.
Experience
A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in the clinical area related to the position. Previous teaching experience preferred. Highly developed interpersonal, education assessment, and communication skills. Educational, technical and therapeutic knowledge as required by standards of care and educational methods. Ability to accept responsibility for educational programming and identifying and responding to educational needs.
