Job Description
The Vice President, Ambulatory Operations is engaged in designing and executing the overall business strategy and direction of the ambulatory organization for Kaleida's 8-County region, ensuring the highest quality of patient care and operational efficiency. The position works closely with regional and system stakeholders to define key objectives and prov ides operational oversight to a portfolio of ambulatory practices across various settings (faculty practice, medical group, and hospital-based). Responsibilities also include developing new practices, identifying opportunities for practice growth and consolidation, managing financial operations and human capital, and working with business partners on the development and execution of business plans.
Education And Credentials
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA), Public Health (MPH), Health Administration (MHA), or related field required. In lieu of master's degree, a bachelor's degree and a minimum of fifteen (15) years of progressive healthcare leadership experience, with regional oversight over multiple geographic sites will be considered Required.
Experience
A minimum of ten (10) years of progressive management and leadership experience in healthcare operations at a large multi-specialty group practice setting with responsibility for multiple geographic sites required. Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and an Electronic Medical Records (EMR) application Passion for driving excellence, continuous improvement, and achieving results Demonstrated critical thinking, decision-making, and influencing skills Ability to manage complex projects and drive innovation Accepts and handles unexpected situations and changes calmly and with confidence; adapts in a positive and productive manner Demonstrated commitment to service excellence Ability to create and lead high-performing teams Demonstrates professional, accurate, effective, and tactful written, verbal, and nonverbal communication with patients, providers, colleagues, and other departments and areas within the enterprise required.
