Job Summary
The Production Team Member reports to the Team Leads as well as takes direction from the Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager, and designated Shift and Line Leads. The Production Team Member is responsible for inspecting, sorting, pruning and packaging products, as well as other farm production tasks as needed.
Qualifications
Essential Job Duties
- Inspect, sort, prune, and box products according to established standards.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of workstations before the end of each shift.
- Understand and adhere to plant safety rules, including safe lifting practices and machine operation, utilizing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Follow food safety policies and procedures, including the use of necessary PPE.
- Maintain general housekeeping in all production areas, including break rooms and restrooms. Ensure proper disposal of organic material, sanitation of food-contact work areas, and waste disposal.
- Uphold quality standards that are in line with company guidelines.
- Perform duties in all assigned production areas and provide relief support as needed.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to adhere to food safety and production safety standards
- Demonstrate knowledge of and willingness to act in accordance with safety policies and procedures and environmental guidelines.
- Knowledge of proper operating procedures and maintenance of all equipment
- Willingness to work flexibly in terms of schedule, location and projects.
- Must be a self-starter, able to solve problems and work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to communicate in a polite and tactful manner.
- Demonstrate physical ability to perform the job, which may require the ability to lift up to 25 pounds or physical strength and endurance.
Physical Demands
- Stand for up to 8 hours while performing repetitive tasks in harvesting and packing.
- May require working in production, lifting, bending, standing for extended periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Experience working in a production line environment desired
