Job Summary:
The Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) Program Director & Residential Habilitation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, compliance, and quality of care for an assisted living waiver program while also managing residential habilitation services. This leadership role ensures that both programs meet state and federal regulations, provide high-quality care, and promote independence and well-being for residents. The position involves staff supervision, program development, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Management & Compliance
• Oversee the administration and operations of the Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) program and Residential Habilitation services.
• Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, including Medicaid waiver requirements.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance program efficiency and resident care.
• Conduct regular audits, quality assurance reviews, and risk assessments.
• Serve as the primary liaison with state agencies, managed care organizations, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor service delivery to ensure it aligns with person-centered care principles.
Resident & Family Engagement
• Promote resident-centered care by developing individualized service plans.
• Address resident concerns and facilitate conflict resolution when needed.
• Educate families and caregivers about program benefits, policies, and services.
• Ensure a safe and supportive environment that enhances residents’ quality of life.
Staff Supervision & Development
• Hire, train, and supervise program staff, including caregivers, RH Assistants, and administrative personnel.
• Provide ongoing staff development, coaching, and performance evaluations.
• Foster a positive workplace culture that emphasizes teamwork, professionalism, and high-quality care.
Program Growth & Outreach
• Identify opportunities to expand and improve program services.
• Build relationships with referral sources, community organizations, and healthcare providers.
• Advocate for program participants to ensure they receive proper services and support.
Qualifications
*Must have Assisted Living Facility experience
