Our NEW dental office is growing and we are seeking a highly motivated and professional individual to join our team as a Dental Front Receptionist. As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play a critical role in ensuring our patients have a positive experience from start to finish. Can start out part-time initially and eventually fill in more days.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring all necessary forms and documentation are completed in a timely manner
- Answer and manage phone calls, schedule appointments, and provide information to patients
- Verify and breakdown insurance coverage plus coordinate benefits with patients
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing any questions or concerns they may have
- Manage office supplies and maintain a clean, organized office environment
- Responsible for other office duties
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a dental office preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with patients, staff, and providers
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail
- Proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Office and bonus if Open Dental
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and insurance processes preferred
