Job Summary
Kaliber Management is seeking an Equipment Operator to join the team. They are responsible for handling and maintaining specific company equipment. This position will be an essential part of re-inhabiting parks and streamlining operations.
Essential Job Duties: (these duties include, but are not limited to):
- Loading and unloading equipment from vehicles used to transport it
- Inspecting equipment before and after use to ensure it's in good working order
- Driving or controlling heavy equipment to complete tasks at the construction site
- Monitoring performance and adjusting settings as required to perform tasks correctly
- Tracking scheduled maintenance of equipment and notifying their Supervisor if maintenance is past due
- Filling out performance records to report problems with equipment and track where and when it was used
- Cleaning equipment after use and disposing of any collected scraps or waste
- Completing minor repair work as needed
- Operate heavy equipment in compliance with the Company's operating safety policies and procedures.
- Provide recommendations for maintaining and improving environmental performance.
- Load and unload equipment from vehicles and trailers.
- Ensure company equipment, material, and the work site are maintained, kept clean, and stored safely.
- Collect and dispose of scrap, excess materials, and refuse.
- Complete required paperwork, reporting, and other documentation.
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of experience in heavy equipment operation
- Loader and Forklift experience
- Valid DOT Medical Certification
- Experience digging around existing utilities.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Compliance with OSHA and other Federal, State, and local safety regulations
Physical Demands:
This position is an extremely physically active position. The employee is frequently exposed to outdoor weather conditions (hot and humid, rainy, extreme temperatures, airborne particles)
