Summary of Functions
To provide janitorial service on a daily basis in a manner which is convenient to the guests, and to promote a positive image of the Kalispel Casino, Market, and RV Parks through professional service and attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provides general cleanup of exterior and interior areas of the facility and grounds.
- Collect garbage on premises and maintain garbage cans at entrances.
- Cleans all glass, doorframes, windowsills, and partitions.
- Provides proper care for all types of flooring surfaces; tile; wood; rubber; vinyl; carpet.
- Stocking of all paper dispensers and hand soap dispensers.
- Attend to all needs in the laundry area including folding, washing, and sorting of towels.
- Cleanup up all emergency spills and leaks.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Attend safety meetings and other departmental meetings
- Record and report any maintenance problems found.
- Must be able to work in secure areas and be held responsible for locking up at night.
- Ability to follow cleaning protocol for a large building with many departments.
- Ability to operate man lifts for high window cleaning.
- Maintain carpet throughout building.
- Ability to follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals, supplies and biohazards.
- Prepare setup for special events in banquet rooms.
- Know and abide by all company policies and procedures including safety, security, and emergency procedures.
- Available and willing to work any changes in hours deemed necessary for Business Levels.
- Responsible for maintaining a consistent, regular good attendance record.
- May be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings.
- Observe safety practices at all times.
- Other duties as assigned including landscape, snow removal and equipment restoration.

- Requires the ability to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 80 pounds.

- Occasionally requires stooping which entails the use of the lower extremities and back muscles. Infrequently requires crouching.
