Job Description
- Ensures the highest possible standards of guest satisfaction and Team Members relations are maintained and carried out in a fair and equitable manner in an environment conducive to that goal.
- Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- State of Washington Gaming Compact, Internal Controls, NIGC Regulations and Northern Quest Policies and Procedures.
- Provide direct overview services to all phases of the Sports Wagering/OTB operation to ensure the integrity of the game.
- Accurately process a high quantity of small and large denomination guest transactions including placing sports wagers.
- Must have a full understanding of all wagers offered on betting board with the ability to explain to guests as needed.
- Properly process any voided wagers.
- Maintains high quality guest service and guest rapport.
- Ensures compliance with Tribal, State, Federal, and NIGC regulations.
- Ensures control/protection of company assets.
- Provide direct overview services to all phases of the Sports Wagering/OTB operation to ensure the integrity of the game.
- Takes charge during assigned shift and is available to give advice and directions to the department.
- Sees that gaming procedures and regulations are properly implemented and adhered to.
- Ensures that team members maintain accuracy of sales and payouts.
- Ensures a positive team-working environment and encourages and motivates team members.
- Ensures high level of guest satisfactions 'and maintains an environment conducive to that goal.
- Assists Sports Wagering Manager in interfacing with other departments to facilitate guest service.
- Performs Sports Wagering Attendant and OTB Attendant duties when needed.
- Responsible for communicating changes, policies, procedures and all others to staff.
- Actively participates in ongoing staff training.
- Ensures that shift is properly staffed.
- Verifies all big wins and jackpots in accordance with current Kalispel Tribal Gaming regulations.
- Orders supplies.
- Has working knowledge of each writer station machine and main station computers.
- Responsible for maintaining a good attendance record.
- May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Performs supervisory functions, when acting as relief shift supervisor. These functions are defined as follows: Overseeing that duties are performed and services provided according to company and department standards; addressing deviances from these standards and correcting deficiencies in conjunction with the Sports Wagering/OTB Supervisor or Director of Table Games; carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.
Education, Experience & Other Requirements
- Associate Degree (A.A) from a two-year college or technical school preferred.
- 1 to 2 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to handle cash accurately.
- Cash handling experience required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III Gaming License.
- Title 31 regulations.
