Job Title: Training Coordinator
Department: Training
Reports To: Manager of Aircrew Records
POSITION PURPOSE:
Responsible for updating and maintaining Aircrew Records. Provides additional staff assistance to the Aircrew Records Manager as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Update, request, maintain, & audit aircrew records in various digital systems.
- Process aircrew documents into appropriate digital formats for computer-based record keeping systems.
- Assign & maintain aircrew computer-based training curriculums.
- Accurately document & coordinate the progression of aircrew training assignments.
- Engage in proactive, professional communication on the status of your assigned tasks with all relevant personnel or departments.
- Collaborate with others on the implementation & design of work-flow processes as requested.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Excellent communication skills.
- Must be very detail-oriented and accurate.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Previous Aviation, Training, Scheduling, or other related experience preferred but not required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, write and understand spoken and written English. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to give verbal and written direction to assigned staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Training Coordinator is required to live in the surrounding area of Ypsilanti, Michigan and this is a Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm position.
