We are seeking an entry level GMP Operations Technician to join our growing team! This Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) Operations Technician will process orders of materials and reagents, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse. The GMP Operations Technician will also support GMP manufacturing activities such as, GMP materials staging, cleanroom supplies inventory, equipment maintenance. The GMP Operations Technician will join a small, dedicated team, allowing focused and ambitious individuals to grow their career as our company expands.
Responsibilities Include:
- Accept delivery of inventory.
- Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs.
- Process invoices, supplying necessary data to accounting or other appropriate department for payment and record keeping.
- Label and store products according to warehouse and GMP standards and procedures; including proper transfer protocols and inventory taking procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness, tidiness and safety of work environment; maintain all eye wash stations.
- Manage the flow of recycling; manage and schedule chemical waste.
- Operate adequate warehouse management tools safely and efficiently (dollies, etc.).
- Accurately maintain company database including all stock and warehouse items.
- Ensure compliance, quality, and continuous improvement with inventory management.
- Assist the Lab Manager with equipment maintenance (cleaning, calibration, contractors’ scheduling).
- Oversee cleanroom cleaning and environmental monitoring.
- Follow all general and laboratory SOPs.
- Follow Bill of Materials to stage materials and reagents for GMP manufacturing.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge & Skills:
- Typing and record-keeping skills necessary to provide accurate information to management regarding warehouse inventory.
- General understanding of bio safety hazards and practices.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding time management skills.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of Associate’s degree in science required.
- Experience with inventory and materials management a plus, but not required.
- Experience working in GLP/GMP environment a plus, but not required.
