Overview:
The ecommerce marketing specialist is responsible for selecting and managing the online assortment to generate sales and service the customers. Products are to be presented within the brand’s standards with correct information. Sales analysis required to maximize the overall performance.
This is a full-time position with a requirement to work in the Great Neck, NY office two - three days per week or as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Presentation:
Organize and display products in a visually appealing and logical manner across the website.
Manage product images for consistency.
Collaborate with copywriter on accurate and interesting product descriptions.
Review the assortment with management and marketing agency of records quarterly.
Site Product Strategy:
Work with the marketing agency of record to plan and execute campaigns, promotions, product launches and holidays.
Meet with the marketing agency of record regularly to review site KPI’s and adjust assortment based on any insights.
Create new and creative searches or curated collections. Ex: Summer Must Haves,
Website Management:
Maintain and manage accurate product information, including pricing, stock availability, product images, and specifications with Production.
Make suggestions to management and the on how to improve navigation of the site.
Performance Review:
Analyze sales monthly, quarterly, and annually to review collection, category, and material for “hits and misses.”
Provide feedback and recommendations for product assortments based on customer demand and trends.
Qualifications & Skills:
· Experience: 2-3 years’ experience -in eCommerce or digital merchandising, including SEO and keyword optimization.
· Skills: Skilled in Shopify and Excel. Organized and detail oriented. Can create visually interesting product offerings. Strong communication and analytical skills.
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
