Kalman & Company, Inc. is seeking an Administrative Clerk in support of Class II Support Division (CIISD) to work onsite in Albany, Ga. This Administrative Clerk performs all administrative duties, including, working with corporate entities such as Human Resources, Payroll, Recruitment, and Contracts to assist the Warehouse Manager with personnel-related issues, and other such duties as required by the Warehouse Manager in support of CIISD.
The primary objective of the CIISD is to provide demilitarization for our DOD customers along with Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense Equipment (CBRN-D) inspection, repair, and other related mission support across the joint services portfolio of the DOD.
Specific Duties:
- Prepare reports for the Warehouse Manager.
- Make travel arrangements for traveling employees
- Schedule and coordinate hiring interviews for personnel vacancies.
- Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, and forms
- Develop and maintain an electronic filing system
- Assist with the research of new deals and suppliers
- Maintain contact lists
- Submit and reconcile reports
- Liaise with corporate resources and management
- Performs other job-related duties as required.
- Follow up on action items within a set timeframe.
- Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse.
- Maintain Common Access Card applications/submittals for the CIISD program
Education/Qualifications:
- US Citizenship required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
- Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) skills a must.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
