Purpose of the position
We seek a motivated and self-driven Information Technology (IT) Intern to join our team. The IT Intern will work with our local and global teams to support our IT Department in providing technical assistance, maintaining computer systems, and configuring hardware and software. The successful candidate will be able to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, assist with implementing new technologies, and provide support to end users.

Purpose of the position

Main tasks and responsibilities
Technical Support
- Provide first-level technical support to users, addressing hardware and software issues.
- Research and recommend solutions for resolving technical problems.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software.
- Follow established procedures and processes for computer maintenance.
- Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
- Help with technical administration tasks.
- Image PCs.
- Participate in hardware and software upgrades.
- Assist with the implementation of new technologies.
- Learning and Development:
- Gain practical experience in IT operations and technologies.
- Learn about industry best practices and standards.
- Develop technical skills through hands-on experience.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends.
- Assist with documentation and knowledge base maintenance.
- Support IT projects and initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the IT Team.
- IT or a similar major. Experience with computer basics.
- Knowledge of computer systems and software.
- Familiarity with hardware and software installation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Able to learn quickly and adapt to new environments.
