About the Role:

The Credit Specialists at Kalmbach Feeds focus on the principal goal of protecting the company’s assets. The selected individual will work cross functionally with members of our customer service, accounts receivable and sales teams. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assists in the financial analysis, credit underwriting and approval process
- Prepares credit approval packages, annual reviews, renewals of credit, client credit proposals and coordination of document preparation and signings
- In collaboration with the Credit Manager, will assist in contacting clients and monitoring accounts.
- Coordinates credit and portfolio administration support such as monitoring past dues, document exceptions, security value monitoring, and covenant compliance.
- Maintain client files and update information as needed
- Assist in reconciling client invoices
- Ensure confidentiality and security of all credit files
- Perform additional duties as directed by the Credit Manager
The Right Candidate:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Demonstrated ability to meet aggressive deadlines per client demands and ability to change work schedule to accommodate competing priorities
- Flexible; readily adapts to change, systems or methods
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong computer skills: Word, Excel and Power Point are a plus
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Outstanding time management and organizational skills
- Strong investigation and follow-up skills; high attention to detail
- Strong customer service orientation
- A desire to live in Northwest Ohio is a requirement
