Director of Engineering

Operating at the intersection of leadership and hands-on expertise, you will guide and influence the development of cutting-edge solutions that redefine the project management landscape. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of our engineering practices, leading a team to deliver robust and scalable solutions

Primary Responsibilities: Define the technical direction of the engineering team and ensure the successful delivery of key projects.

• Set the technical vision and strategy for the engineering team
• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of 4 – 6 engineers to manage the corporate wide growth in Capex spend
• Ensure effective communication and coordination within the team and interdepartmentally 
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards
• Work closely with cross functional teams including product management, design, and operations

The Right Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field. Higher degree and Professional Engineer license preferred 
• 15 years of engineering experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role
• Has large scale (>$50MM) capital projects experience and the ability to lead a team of project engineers managing multiple $100K to $20MM capital projects
• Experienced in design software (AutoCAD or Solid Works) preferable
• Proven track record of leading high performing teams and delivering successful projects
• Excellent leadership, management, and communication skills
