Description
Assist in assurance of all functional area internal compliance and controls with all applicable banking laws, regulations, and internal policies. Primary function of this position to be internal audit as well as compliance and regulatory monitoring. Keeping the CU in compliance in forms and processes. Assist payment system processes in relation to member’s financial transactions. These processes include but are not limited to the credit unions share draft NSF and exception processing, ATM & debit card program administration, Automated Clearing House administration, Wire Transfers, Dispute Resolution, Insurance Processing, and VISA program administration.
- Internal audit utilizing Daily Audit Link Reviews for transaction integrity
- Recommend and track transaction activity for training, control enhancement, and continued education
- Review and process all CTR’s
- Review and recommend reporting of SAR’s
- Process Bi-weekly FINCEN
- Assist with Credit Union Internal Controls
- Process all incoming wire transfers within ½ hour of receipt
- Review and confirm all outgoing wire transfers, process outgoing requests
- Process OFAC Scans
- Provide internal support compliance
- Review all activities for compliance with Bank Secrecy Act / Anti-Money Laundering / Office of Foreign Assets Control regulations and participate in annual training as required by the BSA/OFAC Compliance Officer.

Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- 2 years minimum previous credit union experience required
- 2 years previous credit union compliance experience preferred
- General knowledge of share draft, debit card, ATM, ACH, and VISA Systems and processes (Not required but preferred)
- Aptitude for handling member / co-workers issues effectively and professionally
- Teamwork oriented with the ability to work in a detail intense, multi-task environment
- Sound communication skills – verbal & written
