Job Title: Land Entitlement Manager


Job Summary: The Land Entitlement Manager is responsible for overseeing the entitlement and pre-construction processes for all assigned development projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including engineering, environmental, legal, financial, and operating consultants, to ensure the successful acquisition and development of new properties. 


Key Responsibilities: 


  • Drive the entitlement and pre-construction process for assigned developments. 
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings with consultants and landowners. 
  • Assist in vetting and acquiring new property opportunities. 
  • Create and track contractual and development schedules and deadlines. 
  • Manage all aspects of land entitlements, including easement acquisitions, creation and activation of Municipal Utility Districts, and review of development and utility agreements. 
  • Coordinate with governmental entities such as cities, utility districts, counties, and flood control districts. 
  • Ensure a smooth transition of new acquisitions to the development team. 


Qualifications: 


  • Prior experience in designing and planning civil infrastructure. 
  • Thorough knowledge of the land entitlement process. 
  • Proficiency with current computer programs and technology. 
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 


Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience in land development engineering, including water, sanitary sewer, and drainage facilities. 
  • Ability to build financial models for new community developments. 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
