Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Operate and monitor CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.
- Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and security within the premises.
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and access points to identify potential security risks.
- Provide assistance during conflicts or disturbances, utilizing conflict management techniques.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities for record-keeping purposes.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary to ensure safety protocols are followed.
Requirements
- Proven experience in security is required.
- Familiarity with surveillance equipment and CCTV operation is essential.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- CPR and First Aid certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of loss prevention strategies is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Must be physically fit and able to stand for extended periods.
