We are seeking a Revenue Manager based in the Pacific Northwest with a strong background in operational management to drive the strategic and tactical execution of revenue optimization strategies. Summary
As a Revenue Manager for Kalyan Hospitality, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing revenue strategies and financial performance. This position is essential in supporting our mission to deliver exceptional guest experiences while maximizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
· Revenue Optimization: Develop, implement, and manage pricing strategies to maximize revenue and market share across all revenue streams, including rooms, food & beverage, and ancillary services.
· Operational Collaboration: Partner with operations teams to ensure revenue strategies are aligned with capacity, staffing, and service delivery.
· Forecasting and Budgeting: Create and manage revenue forecasts, budgets, and reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
· Data Analysis: Analyze market trends, competitive performance, and historical data to inform pricing and distribution strategies.
· Channel Management: Optimize distribution channels, including OTA platforms, direct bookings, and third-party partnerships, ensuring alignment with operational capabilities.
· Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations teams to align revenue management initiatives with broader business goals.
· Performance Metrics: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy, and adjust strategies as needed to achieve targets.
· Training and Development: Provide training to operations staff on revenue management principles and ensure they understand how pricing and inventory strategies impact their roles.
Qualifications
- · Experience: Minimum of 5 years in operational management of hotels, with at least 2 years of revenue management collaboration in hospitality or a related industry.
· Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field, or related job experience.
· Technical Skills: Proficient in revenue management systems (e.g., Duetto, IDeaS, or comparable platforms), property management systems, and Excel.
· Analytical Skills: Strong data analysis and decision-making abilities, with a focus on driving results.
· Communication: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
· Problem-Solving: Proven ability to address challenges and adapt strategies to meet dynamic market conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with revenue management and operational planning.
· Familiarity with group sales and catering revenue strategies.
· Understanding of financial reporting and profitability analysis.
· Location: While position is a Hybrid/ onsite candidate must be within same day travel distance of either Seattle or Portland markets.
