Job Summary:
We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Porter to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for both guests and staff. In addition to porter duties, this role will occasionally assist as a busser during service to support smooth front-of-house operations.
Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, restrooms, kitchen, and storage spaces.

Take out trash, recycling, and compost as needed, ensuring proper disposal and cleanliness of waste areas.

Wash and sanitize dishes, cookware, and utensils as needed.

Sweep, mop, and clean floors regularly to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.

Restock supplies such as napkins, cutlery, and cleaning products throughout the shift.

Assist servers and bussers during busy periods by clearing tables, resetting them, and ensuring prompt cleanup.

Perform basic maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs or minor repairs, and report larger maintenance needs to management.

Follow health and safety guidelines, including food safety and sanitation standards.

Assist with receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper storage and rotation of inventory.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a porter, dishwasher, or busser is preferred but not required—we are willing to train the right candidate.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Strong work ethic and ability to complete tasks independently or as part of a team.

Basic knowledge of sanitation and safety practices in a restaurant setting.

Physical ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.

Flexibility to work shifts across both locations as needed, including evenings and weekends.
Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $17-19/hour, based on experience.
