Positions Available :

Teachers and Caregivers : Share your expertise and inspire curiosity in Preschool, PreK, or Infant / Toddler classrooms.

Assistant Teachers : Provide nurturing care and support teachers in delivering high-quality programs.

About the Role :

As a Teacher, Caregiver or Assistant, you’ll :

Create a safe, engaging environment where children thrive.

Implement fun, age-appropriate activities that spark learning and growth.

Support children’s hygiene and nutrition needs.

Build positive relationships with families through regular communication.

Qualifications :

For Teachers : A mix of experience and education is required. Ideal candidates may have a CDA (Child Development Associate) or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, completed coursework in early childhood education, and 6-12 months of experience in a licensed childcare setting.

For Caregivers (Infant / Toddler Teachers) : Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 12 college credits in early childhood or 30 hours of Infant / Toddler Development Training, and 12-24 months of experience with children under 36 months in a licensed childcare environment. (We can provide the 30 hours!)

Kama’aina Kids can help you qualify for a Teacher or Caregiver role if you’re interested and committed to personal growth. We have openings in both our Preschool and School-age Divisions.

If you prefer working with elementary-aged children or only part-time, we're also looking for Group Leaders in our After School Programs!
