About Us : Kama‘aina Kids is a private, non-profit, multi-service organization dedicated to serving children and their families through quality childcare programs. Our services include, but are not limited to, preschool programs, before & afterschool programs, day camps, environmental education programs, and enrichment programs.
About the Role : We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Facilities Maintenance Tech to assist with the maintenance and repair of our multiple locations. The ideal candidate will have experience in a regulated environment such as schools or hospitals and will be a highly skilled all-around handyman. In addition to hands-on maintenance, the successful candidate may assist with small remodel projects and ensuring that our facilities are well-maintained and up to code.
Responsibilities :
- Duties include basic plumbing, electrical, painting, carpentry, assembling new furniture, cabinets, and repairing furniture as needed.
- Ensure that all facilities are well-maintained and up to code
- Respond to and resolve maintenance and repair requests in a timely manner
- Assist with implementing preventive maintenance plans to minimize disruptions and ensure facilities are in good condition
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operation of all facilities
- Keep accurate and up-to-date records of maintenance and repair work
- Calmly and efficiently, manage emergencies as they arise.
- Work to complete projects in a timely manner, as required.
- Respectfully and responsibly, represent Kama’aina Kids and act with integrity and in the company’s best interests.
