Tool Crib Attendant

KAMAX is a leading supplier in the field of high-strength fasteners for mobility and beyond. We specialize in high-strength fasteners and complex, cold form parts.
We are seeking a customer service-oriented problem solver to join our team! The successful candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment involving stockroom, tool crib, or inventory operations and be a stickler for record-keeping.

The Tool Crib Attendant performs stock, inventory and record-keeping functions for tool preparation and use in the support of manufacturing operations and machine operators on the shop floor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Receive stock from both internal and external tooling sources.
• Conduct a complete inventory.
• Disperse tooling to employees.
• Maintain all records (receive, adjust, create) in SAP.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sample job preparation and spot inventories.
• Daily cleaning of work area.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Physically able to lift, bend, stoop, climb and reach.
• Computer and inventory experience helpful.

ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURES:

• Noise – heavy machinery – if in plant.
• Added responsibility as outlined in the Environmental Management System.
