About us:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Representative to join our team at Kamco Services, a trusted leader in providing security solutions since 1976. In this role, you will be responsible for selling a range of security systems, including security alarms, fire alarm systems, surveillance cameras, and access control systems to businesses and residential clients. We offer intelligent technology, smart automation, and life safety devices, as well as monitoring, service, and installation services. As we expand, we're looking for a driven, self-starting sales professional to bring in new business and help us grow!
What We're Looking For:
We need a go-getter with a strong desire to succeed, someone who takes initiative in identifying and pursuing new opportunities for the company. Your ability to understand client needs, demonstrate product benefits, and close sales will be key to your success. You will work closely with our technical team to ensure smooth installation and post-sale support, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term business growth.
We’re seeking a self-starter who is passionate about sales and driven to bring in new leads. You’ll be responsible for generating business opportunities as well as closing the warm leads provided to you by the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business leads through cold calling, networking, referrals and other prospecting strategies.
- Conduct site assessments and demonstrations of security systems for potential clients.
- Returning all calls for inbound sales prospects on the same day.
- Close sales quickly and offer exceptional customer service throughout installation. Provide pre-sale and post-sale services in a way that enhances customer experience.
- Manage and track leads through the sales pipeline to conversion.
- Collect appropriate client information for new account generation.
- Report on leads, new jobs, pending sales etc. in weekly staff meetings.
- Attend local networking events.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the complete line of products & services.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five years of Sales experience
- A strong knowledge of electronic components and systems is preferred

- A valid DCJS Registration is preferred. Candidate will need to pass a federal background check if no existing DCJS credential exists.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Sales focus with an energetic and positive approach.
- High sense of urgency in addressing customer requests.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
- Must be proactive in completing jobs and tasks with little to no direct supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Negotiation skills with strong understanding of sales concepts.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive approach to lead generation and sales execution.
- Proficient in Microsoft excel and Outlook.
Potential earnings range from: $70,000.00 - $125,000.00
